Sun salutations, Sydney. Bask in the early-morning rays, soak in the ambient tunes and stretch out those nine–to–five aches and pains with an energising yoga session by the water. There’s no better way to start your Festival day.
Class outline
Join yoga teacher Jazz Luna on the mat at sunrise for a 60-minute Vinyasa (flow) class. Focussing on intentional fluid movement, you’ll create space in the body and find the balance between strong and soft qualities. Meditation and breathwork will be intertwined to bring a stillness to the mind. The six classes throughout the Festival will take inspiration from each of the main chakras (energy centres) including the Root, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown. Create heat, strength, length and stability throughout the body and nurture your unique expression of flow.
Luna will take you through a challenging, energising practise, accompanied by the blissed-out beats and sounds of our in-house sunrise DJ. Come join the morning ambience and salute the new year and new beginnings.
