Wharf 4/5 is the home of Bangarra, including company dancers, creatives, production and administration staff. It is located on Gadigal Country in the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct along the beautiful waters of Sydney Harbour.

This venue is on The Thirsty Mile for Sydney Festival 2024.

Getting Here

Wharf 4/5 is a brisk 15 minute walk from Circular Quay or Wynyard Station. Buses 324 and 325 run from the CBD with stops right outside the Wharf. For more detail on public transport, visit Transport NSW or call 131 500.

There is limited metered street parking on Hickson Road as well as three parking stations within walking distance.

Our entrance is located on the ground floor along the eastern side of Wharf 4/5 (towards the Harbour Bridge) past Sydney Theatre Company, Sydney Dance Company and Gondwana Choirs. Follow the signs for Bangarra Dance Theatre.

There is a drop off area outside Wharf 4/5 on Hickson Road. Parking is not permitted in this area, as it is for drop offs and pick-ups only. There is limited metered parking on Hickson Road, and nearby parking stations.

There is an accessible ramp outside Sydney Dance Company leading to our entrance on Wharf 4/5. Our entrance, theatre and facilities are all on ground level with level access. There is an accessible toilet on ground level to the left of the Box Office with a change table located inside.
