Join us for a lecture by multidisciplinary artist and composer, DJ Mo Laudi (Ntshepe Tsekere Bopape) which will invite movement and deep listening into the archives of resistance held among Afro-electronic music cultures.
The evening will welcome members of the public to participate in conversation and sonic exploration led by Mo Laudi, a Stellenbosch University research fellow known for his Globalisto philosophy and significant contributions to Afro-electronic music. The lecture will delve into sonic archives that seek to evoke healing, the notion of rest, communal connections, deep listening, care and repair.
