SUMMERGROUND UPDATE (30 NOV)

The Summerground mid-city music festival planned as part of the 2024 Sydney Festival has sadly been cancelled.

Changing consumer behaviours, cost of living pressures and mounting operational expenses are having an impact on many large music festivals nationwide and unfortunately, Summerground was not immune from these factors.

Sydney Festival will provide a full refund to patrons who have already bought tickets and has thanked Summerground artists for their understanding.

All ticket holders will be refunded in full automatically. Refunds will be issued to the original card that was used at the time of purchase. Please note, depending on your financial institution, refunds may take a few business days to appear on your bank statement.

We remain fully committed to the spirit of live music and are proud to present a wide range of other music offerings in the 2024 program that showcase the diverse talent our music scene offers.

The rest of Sydney Festival’s program has not been affected with more than 130 events locked in for the January celebration.

SUMMERGROUND

Kick off the year with a groundswell of big sound, right in the heart of the city. Three days of live music, with each day hosting five bands and one DJ, on one epic stage, and no clashes.

Tuck into a weekend of tunes, dancing, food, drink and chill space. Musically, expect deep soul and dirty funk, alt pop and indie rock, and plenty of beats, bleeps and horn sections to rattle the ice in your cup.
